I've never heard of the brand Gi & Gary before, but from the reviews on the site, they tell me they're natural looking and often out of stock because they're so popular.
On first look upon the lashes when it arrived, my first thought was how thin they were. Both the band and the actual lashes. A lot of the lashes I have had in the past are darker and thicker and more plastic looking. These looked so thin and frail and I was scared that I was going to wreck them just by taking it out of the box haha.
But even though the band is thin, it's easier to bend and wont stick out of your upper lash line. I feel that with monolid people it's easier for you guys to wear false eyelashes cos the band can hide underneath your eye fold, that's one good thing about being a monolid :) Because I have folds, I gotta be careful about how the band of my lash sits. You want the band to fit the curve of your eyelid, especially with the inner corners. If it's not placed right in the inner corners of your eye, it can look really unnatural and result in the lash peeling off during the day and you definitely don't want that. Also, you always want the shorter part of the lash on the inner corner. You want the longer part of the lash sitting on the outside of your eye to give it that natural flare and doe eyed look.
It looks like I have eyelash extensions! ^_^ My natural lashes are short and ugly :(

I'm actually on the hunt for the best lash glue! I'm using DUO glue at the moment, but I don't really like it that much. I hard LashGrip is really good, but what else do you guys use?
