Fashion Weekend Sydney + Purchases

Good day, lovely people :)

Yesterday I had the chance to attend Fashion Weekend Sydney, but just the shopping side of things, not the catwalk. I went with my bestie and it was my first time so it was a lot of fun!

Although I don't know a lot of the aussie fashion brands out there, it was a good experience and definitely a lot of bargains. I was on the look out for a kind of embellished wrap cuff bracelet thing, and I found a few stalls had them, but they were about $100 and I didn't wanna pay that much...

A few of the places requested for me not to take photos, so I stopped taking photos altogether after a while haha.

The most fun place was definitely the Napoleon Perdis makeup and lash bar. The girls there were so friendly and nice and their products were over 30% off, which I thought was pretty good, so I picked up a few items. My bestie got an express makeover that was only $35 and was reedemable on product purchases. She spent over $60 anyway. The MUA taught us how to contour because we were both eyeing the contour and highlight palette. It's amazing watching them do their work, so pro! I can never seem to contour right, but I think I have the hang of it now...haha.

You can really see the contour in her cheeks in the photo below! So pretty :)

There was also a Shop Til You Drop stand where you could get photographed and it's printed on a photo with the magazine cover for $5, for you to take home and keep! I thought it was really cool :)

See the rest of my Fashion Weekend Sydney photos here!

Here's what I got from FW.

From Napoleon Perdis, I got the contour and highlight palette plus a primer brush, although the MUA told me that it's good for cream products too, because I asked her about what brush I should use for cream blushes, and she told me that this is the brush. I'm yet to give it a try. It's just a synthetic angled thin brush. Hope it works!

I got these fab heels for only $25!!! They're from a Australian brand called Fiebiger. Never heard of them, but there's a store in Melbourne. I love them :)

And I also just got this simple sleeveless collared top cos it was $10 yay! I love the little buttons. Or should I say, silver beads? So cute!

Overall it was a pretty fun time shopping with my best friend, need I say more? :)

I also wanted to show you my manicure for this weekend. It's China Glaze - OMG. It's a silver holographic and it's soooo pretty against the sun or just under light. There was a Sally Hansen nail salon at Fashion Weekend and they were doing $20 manicure with a free hand cream but I really didn't wanna get rid of my holo nails :( So I walked away sadly...haha.

Have a lovely weekend, and Happy Mother's Day to all the gorgeous mums and grandmas :)
