Big 50% Cosmetics Sale @ Chemist Warehouse x haul

Tonight's public service announcement:
50% across the ENTIRE range of cosmetics for Maybelline, Revlon, Rimmel and Sally Hansen at Chemist Warehouse!

Since I took advantage of Priceline's 40% sale AND 2 for $15 Maybelline sale, and the fact that I have THIS MUCH amount of makeup, I didn't get much. I was this close to grabbing one of Rimmel's foundations, either the Match Perfection or Wake Me Up, but I'm literally rotating around 4-5 foundations/bb creams at the moment. I guess one more foundation won't hurt.....

Anywho, here's my haul along with my friend's! I did a pretty tiny haul, no surprise with the nail polishes here. They were only $3-$4!
And the babylips were 2 bucks. I mean, seriously. I'm so happy I got the mango pie flavour, smells and tastes delish!

Snaps I was sending to my friend. But yeah, it's pretty much 50% off everything. This picture was taken at 12:30 Tuesday 14 May at Bankstown Chemist Warehouse. Majority might be gone tomorrow, or they may restock! Just a reference pic :)

And here's stuff I got for my friend. It was so much fun, cos I was telling her all the prices and she got all excited and I went back and forth picking out items

So yeaaaa, you're welcome! Sale ends 30 May!

Maybelline haul/mini reviews

I've noticed I've accumulated quite a few Maybelline products lately, so I thought I'd pop it all into one post and show you what I've been haulin'.

So remember last week how Priceline had that 40% ALL cosmetics. Yeah, that was cray. I managed to get a few things (you can see what I grabbed on my Instagram).
That meant that Babylips were 40% off so that brought them down to a very cheap $2.30! So naturally I bought a few. Mum bought more haha. I regret not getting the mango flavoured one!

I thought the different colours were just different flavours, but turns out they're actually different shades!

L to R: Menthol (clear), Pink Lolita, Mixed Berry

Every makeup brand is releasing their version of BB cream, so I picked up the Dream Fresh BB cream, because I'd been hearing some good reviews about it. Let me just say, it DOES feel like there's nothing on your face, however I feel that it doesn't cover up my scars as well as some of the other BB creams. It's definitely lightweight and not heavy at all.

I got the shade in 02 Light, which is the middle shade of the range. It comes in Fair, Light and Medium.

The last thing I grabbed from the 40% sale from Maybelline was the Hyperglossy liquid liner. I'm all for liquid liners. I definitely prefer it over gel. I'm more used to pens, but I remember I used to use Face of Australia's liquid liner which had a similar brush, so I thought I'd give it a go.

It's been a while since I've used a brush like this, so I've gone a little rusty application-wise. But in terms of pigmentation, it's pretty black and provides a smooth line.

I underestimate Chemist Warehouse. They have some seriously good bargains sometimes. Like this recent sale! It's any 2 Maybelline eye products for $15! That's including eyeshadow quads, tattoo eyeshadows, mascaras, eyeliners, you name it. The sale just started last Sunday, and ends 12 May :) Hop to it!

I saved over $36 with these 4 products.

As I mentioned before, I love liquid eyeliners. So instead of grabbing three mascaras, I grabbed two of the Master Precise liquid liners. Partly because it was cheap, and partly because every time I try to find it in Big W or Priceline, they're always sold out! So I took the opportunity, and snagged 2 hehe.

I'm glad I didn't grab any mascaras from the Priceline 40% off sale, because this sale was so much more worth it! I already have the Falsies mascara, so I got these two, One by One and Colossal Volume Express mascara. I was about to pick up the Colossal Cat Eyes mascara (the one with the leopard print on it), but when I was googling reviews instore, Makeup Alley rated it preeeetty bad, so I put it back.....haha.

Maybelline is pretty awesome. It's colourful and cute and it's pretty affordable, provided you find awesome sales ;) Don't forget to hop to your nearest Chemist Warehouse before they all sell out!

Free Neutrogena Gift Pack (for Aussies!)

Hi guys!
Hope you're all having a super awesome week. Can you guys believe it's MAY already?! I knowww, right. I swear I only just came back from my holiday.

Anywho, just wanted to give a quick heads up about this neat little free sample pack that Neutrogena are giving away on facebook to celebrate 50 years. All you gotta do is just pop in your details, pick which products suit your skin and they'll ship out samples for you.

I wasn't sure if it was legit or not, but I filled in my details anyway and about a week later, I found this cute little package in my letterbox. I wasn't expecting it to arrive so fast, so yay to that!

When I was selecting the products, there was already a set amount of products that were already chosen as a default, so I chose 3-4 extra items, which I thought were going to be samples included in the box, but they were actually in the form of vouchers...guess I didn't read it properly. I was too excited about getting free samples, haha.

They're pretty small sizes, but they're decent enough sizes for a sample, in my opinion. I haven't tried any of these products except for the sunscreen, which is pretty good! Definitely has a light, clean feel.

Vouchers!

I've heard mixed reviews about Neutrogena, but now that I have these samples to play around with, I get to give it a go and see if it works on my skin or not. Not sure how long this offer is going on for, but you can get your  FREE sample pack here. (You need a Facebook account to sign in and get this offer).

You're welcome :)

Manicure catch up post

If you follow me on instagram, you'd know that majority of my pictures are of my nails and what colour I'm rocking for that week or so. And since I haven't posted about any nail colours as of late, I decided to pop them all into one post.

This was an Ozsale order that I got back in February. I think they were selling them for about $7 each.

China Glaze - I Herd That
Part of their Safari collection, I was so glad when I finally got my hands on this. It's one of those polishes that you really need to add to your collection. It's a mixture of tiny gold, orange and silver glitters. Both pretty by itself or as a glitter accent.

.

China Glaze - Fifth Avenue
A muted dark mauvey pink that's quite unique in my opinion.

China Glaze - Ruby Pumps
Red glitter! Need I say more. Phone camera didn't pick up the micro glitters but it's absolutely stunning in real life. Perfect for the holiday season, reminds me of Christmas.

Essie - Sand Tropez (base) and China Glaze - I'm Not Lion (tips)
Your basic nude nail polish with a bit of glitter french tip to spice things up. Totally work appropriate and so so cute.

China Glaze - I'm Not Lion
Here's what it looks like when I applied it on the full. I received lots of compliments when I was wearing this colour out, it's very sparkly, blingy and definitely an eye catcher.

Essie - A Crewed Interest
I know how hard it is to find the perfect pink polish without it being too sheer or streaky. This colour is amazing! With my fair skin tone, it matches perfectly, and as long as you do proper thin coats, you can get away with a lovely finish at around 3 coats.

 China Glaze - Designer Satin
I really wanted OPI - Miami Beet, as it's a shade that I don't have in my collection, but my local nail supply didn't have it, so I had to settle for a China Glaze dupe. This was the closest colour I could find and I'm actually quite pleased as to how it turned out. It's a little lighter and touch bit pinker than Miami Beet.

China Glaze - Tinsel Town
I pulled out one of my old favourites last weekend. Tinsel Town does not disappoint! It's a metallic dark grey with an abundance of big and small silver round glitters. Definitely one of my all time favourites.

With all my manicures, I use ORLY Orlon Basecoat and INM Out the Door topcoat. Seriously guys, INM's Out the Door topcoat is the best. I reckon it's better than Seche Vite. I can do a week with minimal tip wear!

What base coat/top coat combo do you guys use?
Hope you're all having an awesome week!
