A little clothes haul..

I've been buying a lot of new clothes lately..the season is changing, and I can't help myself!

These two are from ASOS which I got last month. I also got a black and gold sequined skirt, which is super pretty, so maybe you'll see it this year when I wear it...some day. LOL.

Cable Cardigan
found here

I love this cardigan because it's the perfect length. It sits just right where my butt is haha. It's very warm and I love the design :)

Pleated Maxi Skirt
found here, unfortunately out of stock :(

The model in the picture looked so good when she wore that I just immediately clicked Add To Bag. It's really pretty but too long for me. I'm gonna get my mum to fix it.

I went to the Supre clearance store in Market City to see if I could pick up any bargains. I don't usually wear Supre clothes, but sometimes you can get really cheap stuff, and well, let's face it, I'm asian :)

I grabbed these two for $2.50 each! BARGAIN.

Sheer cape
Wasn't this like $40?
Down to $2.50! Epic.

Elastic Waist Pants.

They're kinda like this but instead of elastic cuffs, it's just folded up. I remember seeing these pants like last year for around $30, and I did end up buying the black version, wait I remember I blogged about it here, and now I got this colour (which is the original colour I wanted) for only $2.50!!! Yay. Sorry for all the wrinkles. I still have to wash it and iron it :)

Cotton On stuff.

Sunday Mullet Knit
The word mullet sounds scary when I see it online. I always think that the front is super short and the back is super long and then you look like a retard. But this one is actually okay. The front just stops at your hips and the back is perfect for covering your butt, but not fully covering it, haha.
It's warm too!

Poppy Lace Top
Cute right? :)

Angie Cardi
Okay....I couldn't resist another cardigan. I can't just NOT get this colour! It's so gorgeous.

And then I bought a whole bunch of legging cos I love love love leggings. Seriously.
 Grey, VELVET and maroon.

I probably wouldn't have bought all that stuff from Cotton On, if it wasn't for my discount. That sweater, top and cardi was almost $100!! Farrrr.

Have you guys been bad like me, lately?

How is it that girls NEVER have anything to wear even when their closets are full?
We fail, girls.
HAHA.

My Everyday Makeup Routine

Hi guys ~

I'm just gonna show you guys what products I use for my face whenever I go out. Of course on the days I stay home, I leave my face bare! If I go on errands for a short period at the local shops, I would use a tinted moisturiser and just go.
My makeup routine has been pretty much the same for the last month, I don't wear eyeshadow as much anymore, since it's uni and I don't wear eyeshadow to uni. So yeah, it might look like I use a lot of product, but it's just all your essentials, nothing extreme. It takes me about 5-10 min doing my makeup, at a slow-ish pace. Eyeliner definitely takes up the most of my time haha.

1. Face Of Australia - Face Bace Primer
Most of the time, I'd use a primer to help set my foundation, and this little baby actually does its work very well :) A little goes a long way.

2. MISSHA Perfect Cover BB Cream or Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream
I'm a big believer in BB creams. Read my post about Missha BB cream here. I feel that it works perfectly to even out my skin tone, which is what I usually look for in foundations.
Depending on my day, I would apply Missha for my longer days, and for shorter days, I use Garnier. Missha has a thicker consistency than Garnier, and covers imperfections well, but Garnier is more moisturising and evens out my skin tone well too.
I use my Sigma F80 Flat top kabuki brush to apply my foundation. Nothing works better :)

I forgot to add here that after I apply my foundation and wait for it to settle, I fill in my eyebrows with a brown eyeshadow using a slanted angled brush. After that I use my powder.

3. Face Of Australia Translucent Loose Powder
After my foundation, I always set it with a powder, not only to set my face, but to also mattify it. I have oily skin, so I've been using this every time I go out.
I use my SILK Green Line powder brush to apply.

After my face is set, I move onto eyeliner.

4. Face Of Australia Eyeliner Mechanical (Black)
This is a crayon pencil and I use this to tightline my upper waterline. I have thin, sparse lashes, so tightlining my eyes gives that effect of fuller looking lashes.

5. Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner
I then use this to line over my eyelids and I almost always wing it out a little.

6. Mirenesse Vibralash Mascara
After my eyeliner, I curl my lashes and apply mascara. I'm currently using this one, and it has 3 vibration settings, going from light vibration to heavier and faster vibration. I feel that these have been coating my lashes very nicely, it doesn't clump and it's a nice deep black colour.

7. Australis Blush - Rosy Cheeks
I always apply my blush last because I don't wanna smudge it when I rest my fingers on my cheek to apply my eyeliner. The current blush I keep reaching for is this gorgeous matte pink. It's the same colour on the Australis Face-A-Holic (here). I use my Sigma Angled Contour to apply this on the apples on my cheeks, sweeping upwards towards my temples.

8. Revlon Mineral Finishing Powder - Brighten
And then, to finish it off, I finish it off with a highlighter/illuminiser. Using my blush brush from SILK, I apply these to the tops of my cheeks, down my nose and a little on my forehead. You ideally want to apply it on the high points of your face for that healthy glow. You can kind of see the highlight on my nose in the above pic showing my mascara.

9. Carmex Moisture Plus Lipbalm.

Last but not least, I apply a lipbalm to my lips to give them that little shine and moisture. I only apply lipstick if I don't plan on eating in the next few hours.

Finished result! Except my eyes aren't liquid lined in this. Haha, pictures from today are all from diff days n_n"

So yeah, that's my everyday look. It's simple and takes no time at all. I've been sticking to this routine for so long now, that it's just automatically picking up the products and applying them, not worrying about what colour eyeshadow, or blush to wear.

Do you guys stick to a routine? Or is your makeup routine different everyday?

PS, I finally have my hands on the Naked 2 Palette! Post soon, promise :)

Fossil Stella Watch - Rose

I'm so happy to own this new watch :) I've been wanting a new watch forever, and I was originally lusting over Michael Kors.
Did you know Fossil designs and manufactures watches from Michael Kors, DKNY, Burberry, Diesel, Marc Jacobs and more?
I settled for the Fossil watch because I knew it was the same craftsmanship as MK, but without the hefty price tag for the brand name ;)

Cute metal vintage box for my watch.

 Ta-da!! It's a boyfriend style chunky watch :) It's 37mm across.
I love how it has the sparkly dial. It gives it a feminine touch, which I like!

Since I'm old now, I need an adult watch. LOL yay!
I'm not used to pulling out my phone to look at the time and I feel weird when I look at my wrist and my watch isn't there, haha.

Do you guys wear watches?

Princess Mimi Sesame Grey Lens

My new favourite pair of circle lens! They're part of the Princess Mimi Bambi Series which also have Green and Brown.

I love that they have such a dolly effect with its thick black outer rim. The diameter is 15mm, so it does make your eye appear larger.
It looks kind of scary by itself in the actual contact case but it's not that bad once you wear them. It reminds me of asian cartoon characters with those big pretty eyes that sparkle.

This is the promo pic...it really attracted me cos of how pretty her eyes are! Ah advertisments.

You can definitely tell which side is supposed to be facing outwards. That's one thing I like about these lens cos I can actually tell which way is the right way. With some of the other lenses, the only way I can tell is if I put them in my eye and then it doesn't sit right and when I blink it keeps moving up and down and it's really irritating. And that's really annoying cos then your eyes go all watery and then you have to try flip them the other way and try put it back in your eye. Such a hassle :(

1st pic: Without and with lens
2nd pic: Both lens in in natural light
3rd pic: Both lens in direct flash

As you can see, the colour is really vibrant in flash but also noticable but not too in-your-face in natural lighting. That's what I love about these. Comfort level is really good. Despite the 15mm size, I didn't find any irritation or discomfort. I haven't worn these for a long period of time yet, but they are comfortable, really.

And depending on your make-up, you can also make these "dolly" lens look sexy for a night time look!

Sorry for all the close up shots, I'm still learning how to use a slr n_n"

So main points from this blog post is:
- They're pretty
- They're comfortable

YAY :)

Nude Lipstick: Sportsgirl & Face Of Australia

Hey all!

Today I'm going to be showing you two nude lipsticks that I own and comparing the colours.

Sportsgirl Pout About It Lip Colour- All About You
Face Of Australia Moisturising Lipstick - Lychee Crush

L: SG All About You
R: FOA Lychee Crush

Top: SG All About You
Bottom: FOA Lychee Crush

Both are super affordable, retailing at less than $10 each.

I always tend to apply lip balm before I apply any lipstick because my lips are always chapped and ugly skin things appear VERY visibly if I just apply the lipstick by itself. So ugly :(

Sportsgirl's All About You is a nude, more leaning on the coral peachy side. I do believe it is a matte texture when you apply it without a lipbalm, but there's still a little shine. I quite like this nude, it doesn't really wash me out, however it does accentuate the dry parts of my lips.

Face Of Australia's Lychee Crush is more of a light pink nude, not completely nude, but not completely pink. It's very moisturising and glides easily on your lips. It also has SPF30+.

I'm not sure if Sportgirl's lipstick ($9.95)  is still in store, because I actually got this last year from a friend, but I do know that FOA's Lychee Crush ($9.45) is still readily available in Priceline, Big W and selected retailers.
