Hey guys! Long time no see! No excuses, let's just get right into it :)
So last week, there was a free shipping offer on SASA with any order over $29US. I was waiting for this time because I wasn't going to spend $75 in order for me to get free shipping. I ended up spending just under $50.
Shipping time was really awesome! It was my first time ordering from SASA and I knew they were shipping from Hong Kong, so I thought it would take about 2 weeks. But it came under a week from when they delivered it to my house! So impressed :) And it was all packed in a box with lots of those puff balls inside.
Ordered: 16th May
Posted out: 19th May
Delivered: 25th May
I will probably do a review on all of them...but not all at once. In time, haha.
Cettua Silky and Clear Nose Strip - $2.40
I got these because I heard about it on twitter and they're just for your blackheads on your nose. Apparently they're super sticky, but I haven't tried it yet, since I don't have much blackheads on my nose at the moment because I just used the Biore one last week, and wow guys, that stuff works. So amazed but disgusted at the same time, at all the gunk on my nose.
Koji Eyelash Curler No. 70 - $4.90
There's so many different number types of the Koji eyelash curler but I chose No. 70 because it was the most average sized one and would fit most normal eye shapes. So far, so good. I'm so horrible at curling my lashes, I feel like I never get to the "base" of my eyelashes enough to let them have the "curl" they need, but with this curler I'm able to get there without pinching my eyes and getting teary. Plus, it's $4.50. LIKE SERIOUSLY GUYS, as if I was gonna pass that one up!
I was going to get the Shu Uemura eyelash curler but it was sold out :(
Gi & Gary Professional Eyelashes (10 pairs, Light black) - $14.50
I'm always on the lookout for natural looking lashes that I can easily adapt to everyday wearing. Not that I do wear fake lashes all the time (I hardly ever wear them, seriously) but I have come to buying so many lashes that the boxes are stacked up in my room and I have no idea when I'm ever going to wear them all.
So I thought I'd give these a go, the comments told me they were very natural and my, they ARE natural! I wore them out today and they're so light and easily manageable. I highly recommend these if you're scared of wearing lashes out because you feel they're "too much". These aren't.
Essential Rich Premier Ultra Honey Hair Mask - $9.60
Another recommendation on twitter, I thought I'd try this hair mask out. To be honest, I've never tried any hair treatments at all, my hair does get dry at the ends sometimes, but I just ignore it LOL. Reading the reviews on SASA, it promises to "smooth" and "moisturise". I'll definitely report back on this and let you guys know!
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 24H Waterproof - $14.10
My Dollywink liquid eyeliner pen was beginning to run out, I think, because it wasn't as pigmented as I first used it and the "ink" wasn't transferring to the tip properly, which resulted in me using the side of the tip to draw my eyeliner on. So I thought I'd try it's competitor, the K-Palette liquid eyeliner. So far, so good. Pigmentation is good, tip is finer than Dollywink, which results in better accuracy when drawing it on your eye and it doesn't smudge!
I didn't get any Beauty Diary masks, which is what people usually get from SASA, but I'm not a face mask kind of person. I originally only wanted the eyelash curler but you know...stuff happens and next thing you know you're cart is full of things that you insist you need . Ah, online shopping.
What else do you guys buy from SASA? I'm always curious about Asian cosmetics and skin care and all that, but I honestly have no clue where to start. I rely on people's reviews and recommendations, so please, let me know! :)

Silver glitter gradient nails (Quick & Easy)
Remember my post on Gold Glitter nails? This time I just swapped it with a silver polish, and seriously guys, it's so easy and so quick to do. If you're just stuck on an idea of what colour to paint your nails, and you just want some oomph, do a glitter gradient french tip! Super easy :)
Step 1: Roughly paint your tips with your desired metallic silver colour. I used BYS - Disco Ball. It was pretty sheer, so I think this was 3 coats.
Step 2: Grab a polish that has different sized glitters in it, but kind of sheer. You want a glitter that's buildable, not opaque or else you won't get that gradient effect. Use this on the top 1/3 of your nail, overlapping the silver you painted earlier. I used Revlon - Belle.
Step 3: This step is optional but for added sparkle and shine, grab an opaque glitter polish and just paint the very tips of your nails. I used OPI - Crown Me Already!
Step 4: Add a top coat and you're done!
For one hand, if you're fast, and have quick drying nail polishes, it literally takes 5 minutes per hand.
Hope you guys have fun with this idea! Try different coloured glitters and see what you get :)

Clarins Rouge Prodige - 105 Peach Sorbet
Hi guys, another lip post for you all! This time it's my very first Clarins lipstick!
I've heard of the brand Clarins before but never really paid attention to it because I didn't know much about the brand and haven't read many reviews on much of their products. I've seen their counters at the department stores Myer/David Jones and I thought it was only skincare they had, not beauty products. Little did I know...
What Clarins say about this lipstick range:
There are such a wide variety of colours! It comes in 30 shades and the shade I have today is Peach Sorbet.
Encapsulated in a sleek gold tube with a square bottom base, the packaging is very nice and can store easily.
I felt that, with my camera, under sunlight gave the truest representation of colour in real life. It's a peachy coral that's just shy of being too orange but it's not pink. I like to call it, "my-lips-but-better" colour.
True to its description, it's creamy and rich, has amazing shine and glides on very smoothly. It has no shimmer and a beautiful creamy finish.
In terms of pigmentation, you can almost probably get a nice colour with one single swipe with a little pressure but it is buildable. You can probably even pull this colour as a nude lipstick, if you wanted to. As I said, it's "my-lips-but-better" :)
Overall, I'm really glad I got to try a Clarins lipstick because I believe the quality of it is really good! I'm really liking this shade because it's such an easy everyday colour to wear, and suitable for any occasion. I'm definitely putting this lipstick in my good books, and I'm keen to try out other colours too.
What are some of your favourite higher end lipsticks?

Revlon Lip Butter - Sweet Tart
Labels:
lip butters,
makeup,
review,
revlon
This is the one shade I regretted not getting in the previous Priceline buy one get one free promo last month. So I just bought it on ebay, for about $12 and I do not regret it! I can see how it's a favourite with a lot of girls :)
Out of all the lip butters I own, I feel that this one has the best formula for me, personally. Much better than Strawberry Shortcake, which I felt accentuated my dry parts of my lips rather than gliding over them. Sweet Tart literally just glided over my lips and it really is creamy and soft and opaque colour payoff. It's just a tad bit shy of being opaque enough to pull off being a lipstick.
Which is good! I loveeee the colour, an almost bright pink that you can easily wear everyday without looking over the top. It's pretty much matte, with no hint of glitters/shimmers, which is probably the reason why it glides over your lips without a hitch.

I think this will be the last of the lip butters I'll try for now...I still love Peach Parfait! A colour I love love love, even if there is a gazillion glitters.
